Midsummer: Bonfire & live music with Mathias Ranch

Celebrate Midsummer with us on June 23, when we’ll gather for a cozy summer evening with a bonfire, sing-alongs, and live music from Mathias Ranch.

At 8:30 p.m., we’ll light the bonfire so even the little ones can join in the magic of Midsummer’s Eve. The bonfire will be lit at 8:30 p.m., and the music will start shortly after.

We look forward to a cozy evening by the sea with music, a bonfire, and good company.

LIVE MUSIC AT 8:30 PM:
MATHIAS RANCH

Music is Mathias Ranch’s primary language. First as a member of Statisk, where he made his mark on P3 and the country’s major stages, and now as a solo artist with a distinctly personal style. A project that doesn’t seek explanations, but insists on honesty, authenticity, and artistic depth.

As a solo artist, Mathias Ranch has developed a style in which vulnerability and strength coexist. His music navigates the tension between the Danish folk song tradition, the raw energy of rock, and a modern, often electronically influenced sound. The lyrics are poetic, direct, and human. The melodies carry both darkness and light, without attempting to prioritize one at the expense of the other.

In his songs, Mathias Ranch explores emotional vulnerability, identity, and finding one’s footing in a world where the fast pace and high expectations often drown out reflection. These are stories about growing up in chaos and learning to live with it. About not fitting into a set mold, but finding one’s own way of being in the world.

His debut EP, *Barn Af Venedig*, became a defining milestone in his solo career. A work that clearly defined his artistic stance and put words and images to resilience. The image of the child learning to swim in the water around him has become a recurring motif in Mathias Ranch’s universe. Not as a promise of redemption, but as a reminder of survival, hope, and human strength.

On stage, Mathias Ranch has established himself as an intense and engaging performer, most recently with a critically acclaimed concert at the SPOT Festival. His concerts aren’t polished spectacles, but spaces for shared experience, where the audience is invited to get up close and personal with the stories and the atmosphere.

Looking ahead to 2026, Mathias Ranch continues to work on his first full-length album project as a solo artist. It is a long-term project in which the songs, the live format, and the visual aesthetic are all being developed in tandem. The goal is not to rush ahead, but to create music that stands the test of time and can encompass complexity, doubt, and hope all at once.

Mathias Ranch isn’t a new name, but a clearer perspective. An artist who stands on his own and creates a space where there is room for both darkness and light. And where the music doesn’t offer answers, but companionship.
