The fine print
Services
Atsurfcenter.dk you can purchase various services, including accommodation, camps, courses, rentals, and events. All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT.
The guest accepts the following terms and conditions when purchasing services.

Booking
Services offered by Lynæs Surfcenter, such as bookings for experiences and hotel stays, are not covered by the standard 14-day right of cancellation.
After booking a service, the guest will receive a confirmation by email. From the moment the guest receives the confirmation, there is a 24-hour right of cancellation. After this, the booking is binding for both parties.
Payment
Payment must be made in advance before the service is provided.
Payments can be made using VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, and MobilePay. The charge will only be applied to the guest's account once the order has been completed. Payments are processed through the QuickPay payment server, which encrypts the guest’s card details with SSL (Secure Socket Layer), ensuring the information remains secure. International cards are processed via Clearhouse.
Cancellation & Rebooking
The guest has a 24-hour cancellation period from the moment the confirmation email is received. After 24 hours, the booking becomes final and cannot be canceled. Cancellation requests must be sent to info@surfcenter.dk.
Rebooking is free of charge and must be done according to the following table:

Lynæs Surfcenter is responsible for assessing whether the service can be conducted based on the weather conditions. In case of cancellation by Lynæs Surfcenter, the guest is entitled to rebook the service at no additional charge. If Lynæs Surfcenter interrupts a service in progress, the guest can rebook the remaining part of the service.
Upon rebooking, the guest will receive a voucher that can be used at www.surfcenter.dk.
Arrival
The guest must report to the reception upon arrival and provide their 'appointment ID' as listed in the booking confirmation. If the guest is required to check in at a different location, this will be specified in the booking confirmation.
Force Majeure
Lynæs Surfcenter can cancel bookings without notice in the event of force majeure, strikes, or other unforeseen and external circumstances. In such cases, the guest has the right to reschedule their service to another date.
Responsibility
It is the guest's responsibility to check that the interior and equipment are in good condition before use. By booking and paying, the guest agrees to be responsible for any defects or damage to the furniture and equipment that occur during the stay. Any faults, deficiencies, or accidents must be reported to Lynæs Surfcenter as soon as possible. By booking and paying, the guest agrees to cover any costs for extraordinary cleaning, repair, or replacement of lost or damaged inventory. Lynæs Surfcenter will send an invoice to the guest after the damage has been repaired.
During your stay
It is possible to change the number of participants for courses, camps, and accommodation up to 14 days before the arrival date. Any increase in the number of participants can be made up until the event day, provided there is availability and by agreement with the reception. It is not allowed to have more participants than specified in the booking. Every reservation is personal and cannot be transferred without permission from Lynæs Surfcenter – a violation of this rule will result in immediate expulsion without the possibility of a refund.
Animals
We’re big animal lovers, and you’re welcome to bring your furry companion along to the Shop, Beach Bar, and our Tenthouse Supremes. A dog is charged as an extra person, and the fee helps cover additional cleaning costs.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed indoors at Lynæs Surfcenter, including in tents and surfshacks. Smoking is also prohibited on the campsite due to fire hazards. Guests who do not adhere to our smoking policy will be asked to leave Lynæs Surfcenter. Smoking in our accommodation units will incur an additional fee of 1895 DKK.
Bonfire
It is generally prohibited to light a fire at Lynæs Surfcenter. However, overnight guests are permitted to use our designated campfire area. The campfire area cannot be reserved and must be shared with other overnight guests. Lynæs Surfcenter provides firewood, but guests are required to bring their own grilling equipment. Lynæs Surfcenter reserves the right to prohibit the lighting of fires in conditions of strong wind or when there is a risk of fire. Guests with inquiries regarding the campfire area should contact the reception.
Lost property and security
Lynæs Surfcenter is not responsible for any damage to or loss of the guest’s belongings. Lynæs Surfcenter cannot guarantee the return of forgotten items and is not responsible for shipping costs. The guest is responsible for their own safety at Lynæs Surfcenter and while in the sea. Our guests are always welcome to contact us if they suspect that something is not as it should be.
Typographical errors
Everyone can make mistakes – and we reserve the right to make typographical errors on our website and social media.
Complaints
Should there be any issues or dissatisfaction, guests are encouraged to contact Lynæs Surfcenter immediately so we can resolve the matter. We are committed to providing a professional service with a focus on customer experience and safety. If there are any further disputes, we direct guests to the Competition and Consumer Authority’s Complaint Resolution Center.

When you visit our website, information about you is collected and used to customize and improve our content and to increase the value of the advertisements displayed on the site. Personal data refers to any kind of information that can be attributed to you in one way or another. When you use our website, we collect and process a range of such information. This occurs, for example, when you access content, sign up for our newsletter, participate in competitions or surveys, register as a user or subscriber, use other services, or make purchases through the website.
We typically collect and process the following types of information: A unique ID and technical details about your computer, tablet, or mobile phone, your IP address, geographic location, and the pages you click on (interests). Additionally, to the extent that you provide explicit consent and enter the information yourself, we process: Name, phone number, email, address, and payment details. This typically occurs when creating a login or making a purchase.
Security measures
We have implemented technical and organizational measures to prevent your information from being accidentally or unlawfully deleted, disclosed, lost, altered, accessed by unauthorized persons, misused, or otherwise processed in violation of the law.
All online payments are processed through stripe.com.
Purpose
The information is used to identify you as a user and to display advertisements that are most likely relevant to you. It is also used to record your purchases and payments, as well as to provide the services you have requested, such as sending a newsletter. Additionally, we use the information to optimize our services and content.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link provided at the bottom of each sent newsletter.
Storage period
The information is stored for the duration permitted by applicable law, and we delete it when it is no longer necessary. The retention period depends on the nature of the information and the reason for its storage. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a general timeframe for when the information will be deleted.
Disclosure of information
