Communication assistant for Lynæs Surfcenter (10 hours)
Are you creative and have a flair for producing films and images for social media? Do you want to help tell Lynæs Surfcenter's story and strengthen our online presence? Then you might be our new Communications Assistant!
About the position:
As a Communications Assistant at Lynæs Surfcenter , you will be a key member of our marketing and communications team. Your primary tasks will be to create inspiring visual content and texts that engage our followers and guests. You will work across all departments to convey the atmosphere, offers and events we provide. We primarily do media production for social media, newsletters and website. The equipment is simple, but you will have access to the tools that work best for you.
What is Lynæs Surfcenter?
Lynæs Surfcenter is more than just a surf school - it's an experience destination with surf, accommodation, shop, events, café, micro bakery and restaurant. Our vision is to create 'the wave out of the city' and inspire life by the water. Our main season is summer, but we are open all year round.
Your work tasks:
- Make short films, take photos and create visual content for social media, newsletters, ads, website and other channels
- Be creative about how we can indirectly raise awareness of the offers we provide
- Write engaging and creative texts that tell stories and promote our activities, including SEO content
- Develop and implement campaigns in collaboration with the rest of the team
- Monitor the media landscape and keep up with digital trends
- Start the flow of content on new channels
The position:
- The starting point is 10 hours a week (ideal student job). Minimum one day in Lynæs. Editing work can be done from home.
- Working hours are relatively flexible, but it may be necessary to work on weekends to be present at events, for example.
- Your job is to speed up our content production while increasing quality.
- Desired start-up; January 2026
- More hours are available if you want to join our service team at Strandbaren or Madbaren, as well as possible accommodation in our staff house.
What does it require of you?
- Flair for producing engaging films, photos and texts
- Understanding how media works today, especially social media and digital communication
- The ability to combine good aesthetics with attention-grabbing content
- Not afraid to be in front of the camera
- Can use humor and understand how to differentiate it across platforms
- The ability to build relationships and confidence in your presence
- A positive, independent attitude with responsibility for own tasks
- Willingness to take action when needed
- Good communication skills and the ability to tell stories in a simple and inspiring way
- Interest in surf, nature, food and aesthetics is a plus
- Experience with social media and content creation is a must
