Kite tour past Lynæs: June 6–7
Come see Denmark’s wildest kiters compete on the fjord on June 6 and 7, with plenty of action and tricks right from the beach. We’ll be keeping Strandbaren going Strandbaren burgers and cold drinks starting at 12:00 PM, while Rasmus from Make Life Pleasant hangs out by the new surf truck. The party culminates on Saturday night when resident DJ Lucas spins tunes for the summer party at 8:00 PM following the day’s awards ceremony.
Get ready for one of the most action-packed sights of the year on the fjord! On June 6 and 7, the Kite Tour is coming to town, which means plenty of speed, wild tricks, and high jumps right off the coast. Of course, we’ll keep the center and rental shop fully open, so there’ll be plenty of opportunity to soak up the authentic surf vibe while the competition heats up on the water.
We recommend that everyone head all the way down to the beach to feel the breeze and get the best view of the many kiters. If you get hungry or thirsty along the way, starting at 12:00 p.m. you can buy juicy burgers and cold drinks inside Strandbaren, which you can take out onto the sand or enjoy on the terrace.
The whole event takes place on the beach and around our new surf truck, where Rasmus from the brand‘Make Life Pleasant’ will be stopping by with his cool gear, and you can enjoy delicious frozen margaritas from the surf truck between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Once the day’s competitions are over and the awards ceremony has wrapped up on June 6, we’ll turn up the volume. Ourresident DJ, Lucas, takes over the decks at 8:00 PM and kicks off the summer with the hottest tracks.
