If you ever feel like a change from Lynæs Surfcenter (hard to imagine!), the area boasts plenty of fantastic hotspots we’d love to share. North Zealand is rugged and truly unique in many ways. It’s filled with hidden gems, perfect kissing spots, stunning viewpoints, hiking trails, and other wild nature experiences that are pure soul therapy.
Here’s a small selection of the many gems – and VisitNorthSealand is always worth exploring as well.
Stejlepladsen A trail along the protected cliffs around Lynæs, Sølager, and Store Karlsminde. The highlight of this trip is the upper cliff at Sølager, where you get the best sunset in town.
Lynæs Harbor Authenticity at its best, with an iconic bathing pier and lighthouse featuring an (almost) secret bench and a sublime view.
Knud RasmussensHus/Skansen One of the city's major natural attractions, where the Kattegat and steep cliffs will take your breath away.
Valdemar Poulsens Høj The area behind Lynæs Church, where a beautiful forest path offers a stunning view of Isefjord all the way to Rørvig.
Kikhavn An old and incredibly charming fishing village with thatched roofs and cozy nooks everywhere.
Melby Overdrev Zealand's largest heath with a diverse wildlife and rare, unique plants.
Tisvilde Hegn Perhaps Denmark’s most beautiful mountain bike trail, which you can also easily ride on a regular bike.
Grønnessegaard Estate A family-owned estate that sells organic products from both plant and animal kingdoms. It’s also simply a breathtaking place to visit, as it is a beautiful, well-maintained manor with an exceptional location near both the forest and the beach.
Tothaven A small family-run guest farm that is undoubtedly one of the coziest. They are specialists in homemade goat’s milk ice cream and goat cheese. You’ll also find a café when you check in here.
