Groups of 12-29 people

If you want to book for a larger group of 12-29 adults at the Madbaren restaurant, you must book one of our party packages. If you want to book for fewer than 12 adults, you can book as normal here. As something new, you can now book our orangery! – It can accommodate 12 to 16 people!

No speeches, place cards or decorations in an open restaurant - you need to book a private space.

For the early birds

Brunch

Our brunch is the perfect gathering place for all kinds of celebrations, with something to suit every taste.

Times and duration:

  • Booking: You can book a table for arrival between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m.

  • Duration: As a large group, you will have the table for 3 hours (normally 2 hours).

  • The buffet: The buffet will be replenished for the last time at 12:00 and cleared away at 12:30.

Upon arrival, coffee, tea, and juice will be waiting for you, included in the price.

Prices:

  • Adults: DKK 275.00

  • Children (under 12 years): DKK 150.00

  • Children (under 3 years): Free.

Please note: Can only be booked on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

Lunch and dinner parties

Our party packages can be booked for both lunch and dinner. Please note that the menu must be chosen by the entire party.

  • Lunch parties: When booking lunch, arrival is at 1:00 p.m. You will have the table until 4:00 p.m. at the latest.
  • Evening parties: When booking an evening party, arrival is either before 5:30 p.m. or after 7:00 p. m. You will have the table for the entire evening.
  • Children under 12 years of age: Can choose a separate children's menu.
  • Children under 3 years: Eat for free.

Please note: It is not possible to order à la carte for large groups. For large groups, the organizer must choose one package for all adults no later than 48 hours before arrival. Children always receive the "non-alcoholic package."

The large package Free beer, wine, water, and lemonade for 2 hours, as well as coffee and tea with dessert.

  • Lunch: 150 per person
  • Evening: 200 per person

The non-alcoholic package Free lemonade, water, and sparkling water for 2 hours, as well as coffee and tea with dessert.

  • Lunch: 100 per person
  • Evening: 150 per person

Frequently asked questions

Why do we HAVE to book a package when there are more than 12 of us?

When you come as a large group, you can rarely stay for the two hours that our bookings normally last, and we are therefore unable to sell the tables multiple times during an evening/lunch. In addition, our bar and kitchen cannot handle such large tables à la carte without giving both you and the restaurant's other guests a poor experience. 

What about allergens?

We can accommodate all allergens if we know at least 48 hours before you arrive. We cannot replace all dishes, but we will ensure that there is something for everyone in all servings. 

How does the free bar work?

An open bar is ideal for large parties because you avoid waiting at the bar. Drinks are ready in a bowl upon arrival, and you can refill your glasses at no extra charge for 2 hours. When the time is up, you can keep a maximum of one glass per person + water and sparkling water. It is possible to book extra hours. 

Can you extend the free bar?

If you book extra hours no later than 48 hours before your reservation, it costs +100 per hour to extend the beverage package with beer/wine and +50 per hour without. If you book in the evening, it costs double. You will always be charged for the original number of people, not for the part of the party that remains. 

Which wines and beers are included in the free bar?

We offer house red and white wine as well as our organic pilsner from To Øl. It is always possible to purchase our other beverages, but no discounts are offered. 

Can I choose half a beverage package with wine/beer and half without?

You must choose one beverage package that applies to the entire table. If the majority of the party does not drink wine/beer, you can choose the package without wine/beer and order a few bottles of wine and/or jugs of beer to be ready when you arrive. 

Can you book a free bar if there are fewer than 12 people?

Unfortunately, we do not offer that. 

Can you book a bachelor party?

We are a place for children, young people, and older people—families and friends. There must be room for everyone; this is important to us, and therefore we do not allow bachelor parties or similar events, and we reserve the right to terminate a party immediately if we experience inappropriate or disrespectful behavior toward other guests or staff. 

Unannounced bachelor parties will be turned away at the door and will not be refunded.
