We light the bonfires for the fjord on March 20.
At the spring equinox on Friday, March 20, at 7:00 p.m., we will light beacons along the entire length of Isefjord and Roskilde Fjord. A thousand years ago, bonfires were lit to warn of danger. Now we are lighting them again—not to warn of enemies from outside, but to draw attention to a fjord in crisis: Life beneath the surface is under pressure from oxygen depletion, pollution, and destroyed habitats.
DN Halsnæs has arranged a bonfire and speeches at the experience bridge, and we invite you to a long table dinner at Madbaren .
Come and join us for a silent protest as we, together with DN Halsnæs and many others, light up the bonfires along Roskilde and Isefjord!
Tonight's program:
-
5:00 p.m. Long table dinner: We have arranged a large long table at Lynæs Madbar anyone who would like to eat together beforehand (limited seating).
-
6:30 p.m. Torchlight procession: After dinner, we will walk together with lit torches to the adventure bridge in Lynæs

7:00 p.m. – Bonfire lighting: The bonfire is lit while Gunni Torp sets the mood with authentic music.
