At the mouth of Roskilde Fjord, right on the point, stands a small lighthouse that has become a landmark for Lynæs Havn. The water is shallow, kites fill the sky, and behind the flat dunes, you can spot old fishing gear, seine poles, and sailboats that have yet to touch the water. This is where our story with Lynæs Surfcenter begins – the setting for one of Denmark's best wind- and kitesurf spots. Today, Lynæs Surfcenter offers not only water sports lessons and rentals but also a café, accommodation, a shop, reception, and events in the old grocery store building. It all started with our parents’ grocery store, which once occupied the same premises now home to Lynæs Surfcenter. The grocer didn’t survive, but we moved in with wind- and kitesurfing equipment, which, as described earlier, has since grown into something much bigger. 🙂

Lynæs Surfcenter was created with the aim of providing a relaxed and inclusive haven for surfers of all levels, who want to connect more with nature. It’s a place where we hope you’ll unwind, open your heart, smile, and, above all, be filled with positive energy!

As an overnight guest at Lynæs Surfcenter we want you to have a fantastic stay - filled with fresh air, water on your skin, wind in your hair and sand between your toes. With us you have the opportunity to get a little closer to nature, lower your shoulders, relax and maybe ride a wave. We care about nature and our fellow humans, which is why we have established a set of rules that you are required to follow. These guidelines have been created to ensure a great experience for you, our other guests, and of course, our neighbors.

Rules at Lynæs Surfcenter :

• Since our campsite is a quiet area, we ask that all activities be kept outside the campsite whenever possible. Please use our café and serving area.
• The camp area must be completely quiet from 22:00 every day.
• Music is not allowed in the campsite area. Any violations will result in expulsion for the rest of your stay. 
• Smoking is not allowed in the campsite area due to fire risk. A fee of 1,000 DKK will be charged for non-compliance.
• Open flames are prohibited in the campsite area. A fee of 2,000 DKK will be charged for non-compliance.
• All trash and waste must be placed in the designated bins on the site.
• If you experience any issues or disturbances, please contact the reception or call us.
• 29 87 77 77 66 (open 10-17). Outside opening hours and in case of EMERGENCY, you can call the hotline at 30143712.
• Failure to comply with the above may result in expulsion.
  

If you're staying with us during the winter, we have special opening hours just for you! Our café’s backroom is open until midnight and from 6:00 AM for our overnight guests.

Here, you are welcome to play, enjoy games, or simply relax! There's a "trust bar" in the corner with coffee, beer, and soft drinks. So, if you're craving coffee before we open, you can help yourself here 🙂

If you need good babycare facilities, the toilets here are also recommended!

Check-out is at 11:00 AM on your departure day. You can leave your key at the reception, or if you're in a rush, you can drop it in the mailbox to the right of the entrance to the reception and shop.

Your stay includes breakfast. If you are here on Friday and Saturday, you can have brunch at Madbaren between 09:30 and 11:30 - If you are here on Sunday, we bring you breakfast in bed! - If you haven't already made an arrangement with the reception, please do so before 17:00 🙂

Bicycles are available for rent during the summer season, from Easter to autumn. You can rent them at the reception between 10:00 and 17:00.

Toilets and showers are located at the entrance to the overnight area in the large green trailer. Inside, you'll find 3 separate bathrooms with toilets. Please conserve hot water – both for the environment and to be considerate of other campers who will use the facilities after you.

If you plan to use the sauna, make sure to book a time in advance via the link you received or at the reception.

There are showers by the sauna, and the cold dip is down by the sea 🙂

You can pour water on the sauna stones, but make sure to do it slowly, or the electrician might not be too happy!

Have a great time!

Place your surfboard or SUP board in our surf rack. You can wash your suit and shoes in our outdoor shower next door and use the clotheslines in the area. The drains in the toilet trailer can NOT handle large amounts of sand, so use the showers by the sauna.

Home theater guide

1. Find projector and screen in your little round basket
