JJ Paulo has firmly established himself in the Danish music scene as a lively, fresh, and energetic force that brings diversity to the musical landscape.

The music genre is afrobeat, blending recognizable melodic pop with vibrant african rhythms that move through your body, making it impossible to stand still.

2023 has been a defining year for JJ Paulo, as he was honored with the "Concert Experience of the Year" award at the Danish Music Award Roots. This recognition underscores the energy he brings to his shows, along with the unique experience, music, and cultural enrichment that audiences leave with.

In the past couple of years – since the release of the EP "JORAM" in October 2022 – JJ Paulo has only gained more momentum, making even greater strides in 2023.

MTV Africa, KEXP, Eurosonic Festival, Roskilde Festival, Smukfest, and numerous other festivals and concert venues have had the pleasure of experiencing JJ Paulo’s African Sukuma culture.
