DORTHE GERLACH & PERNILLE ROSENDAHL - (SOLD OUT)

Two of Denmark’s biggest voices from the past two decades are coming together to celebrate a unique sisterhood in music. Dorthe Gerlach and Pernille Rosendahl will hit the road with a series of intimate acoustic concerts this summer, taking their musical journey across the country!

"This is truly a labor of love – a creative collaboration born from our shared passion for music, creativity, and the urge to create. But above all, it's a friendship that’s incredibly fun and effortless. Like two sisters, we’re stepping away from all the sensible stuff, and we’ll see where the music and our bond lead us this time," says Pernille Rosendahl.

They both broke through in the 2000s. One at the forefront of one of the most colorful and distinctive rock bands, Swan Lee, while the other captivated the Danish audience with critically acclaimed country-pop through the duo Hush. In many ways, the two women are quite different, yet they are both carved from the same rock. Nearly simultaneously, Gerlach and Rosendahl also debuted with their own songs when they each released a strong solo album in the mid-2010s.

Both Gerlach and Rosendahl achieved great success on the music program Toppen af Poppen, but it was during their tour with Danmarks Underholdningsorkester that they really connected. Now, with deep respect and admiration for each other's musical talent and voices, they set out on new adventures together.

"I've always had great respect for Pernille's unyielding drive and creativity. And I've always adored her voice – even when she beat me to the 'Danish Singer of the Year' award at the Danish Music Awards back in the day. But looking back, I can't help but smile. Because now, all these years later, we're here, ready to embrace each other's worlds. I’m excited about it, because something truly special happens when we women support each other, and I’m beyond proud to be singing alongside Pernille," says Dorthe Gerlach.

In other words, there are some truly special late summer evenings ahead, in the spirit of sisterhood, with Gerlach & Rosendahl. Here, stories will be shared, their own songs will be interpreted like never before, and new musical paths will be explored.
