Beginner rig (windsurf sail + board)
Rent a beginner level windsurf rig and master turns and maintain height with ease. We have rigs for both kids (up to 8 years old) and adult beginners.
What does it cost and what is included?
We rent out our beginner windsurfing equipment for one hour (250,-), three hours (300,-) or a full day (500,-)
A set consists of:
1x JP visionrip size 1.5 / 2.5 / 3.5 / 4.5 / 5.5
1x JP WindSupAir
This is an ideal set for beginners to practice tacks, upwind sailing, and balance. It's NOT designed for planing, and there are NO harness lines on the beginner booms. Feel free to request a sail size, though keep in mind it may vary depending on the wind conditions. Just let us know what you’d prefer, and we’ll do our best to match it 🙂
It is not possible to book neoprene in advance, but we have plenty in stock. If the weather requires neoprene, you can rent it upon arrival. You can see the rental prices for neoprene here.

Do I need specific skills to rent the equipment?
Lynæs a large shallow water area and is generally a safe place for beginners on the water, but when renting equipment, it is always your responsibility as the renter to be familiar with the techniques and weather conditions. We always recommend that you have at least taken an introductory windsurfing courseand, preferably, that you have also participated in and feel confident in the exercises you are presented with on a beginner's course. If there are many of you who want to rent gear and want an instructor, we highly recommend a private windsurfing course, so you can be sure to get the most out of your time on the water.
